Grandmaster Cliff Lenderman
Sifu Cliff Lenderman is a 9th degree black belt and was the founder and owner of the Lenderman Academy of Martial Arts in Tacoma, WA. He managed the school for over 25 years and sold the business in January of 2019. He continues to teach online and does workshops throughout the country.

Sifu Cliff Lenderman is a 9th degree black belt and was the founder and owner of the Lenderman Academy of Martial Arts in Tacoma, WA. He managed the school for over 25 years and sold the business in January of 2019. He continues to teach online and does workshops throughout the country.
As and actor he had starring roles in the movies "Superfights" and "American Shaolin". He also appeared in episodes of Northern Exposure and Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Mr. Lenderman was hired as a consultant to work with the offensive and defensive line under coaches Chuck Knox in 1986 and Tom Flores in 1992-1993. He worked with major law enforcement agencies in the Puget Sound area and also taught classes at the police academy. Sifu Lenderman also worked with the special forces groups at Fort Lewis and the Military SWAT team. Mr. Lenderman and his wife Debra moved to Goodyear, Arizona after they sold their martial art studio. He also is a professional portrait photographer and also enjoys photographing landscapes and wildlife.

Ms. Debra is a 2nd degree black belt and an an assistant instructor for the Lenderman Online Academy. She was the office and program manger for the Lenderman Academy when we were the owners.

It takes about 2-4 years to test for black belt and you can generally test for your 1st belt (Yellow) in 3 months. Testing for belts is done via Zoom conference or submitting video.
